Abstract：The definition of smart library is not consistent based on the perspective of technology, service, humanity and system, but smart scene, smart specification, smart platform and smart service are considered as the key elements in the construction of smart library. At present, the construction of smart library in China is in the transition period from the former development stage of smart library to the primary development stage of smart library. Although some achievements have been made in the construction of elements, it is still necessary to further improve the ability of smart service, ensure data security, build cooperative construction ecology, promote the inclusive development of smart society, so as to promote the construction of smart library.
