This article analyses the skill training of scholarly communication librarians in 4 British and American university libraries, points their characteristics such as rich content，flexible training methods, and paying more attention to practical application. In view of the change of academic exchange environment and the current situation of academic exchange service in university libraries, it also puts forward some suggestions on the scholarly communication librarians' skill training of university libraries in China.
