tDeveloping research travel service is an innovative way for public libraries to expand the service field and promote reading for all under the background of integration of culture and tourism. Taking the establishment of research base in Anshan Library as an example, this paper systematically analyzes the inevitability and main difficulties of research service in public libraries under the background of integration of culture and tourism, this paper also probes into the innovative ideas of developing research travel service in public libraries from the aspects of resource selection, curriculum design, crossborder integration, paying attention to local culture, talent development and guarantee mechanism construction.
