On the basis of clarifying the legal connotations and forms of the document information disposal system in public libraries, the article proposes the legal path of improving legal norms, improving judgment criteria, optimizing ladder structures, improving internal procedures and ensuring public participation, analyses the difficulties existing in the legislative norms, judgment criteria, disposal methods, internal procedures and public participation of the document information disposal system, to promote that the document information disposal system of public library moves towards the ideal state of good law and good governance.
