Abstract

The article uses website surveys and email interviews to investigate the current situation of play services for young children in public libraries in the United States, summarizes the characteristics of play services for young children in public libraries in the United States, and proposes inspiration for public libraries in China, that is, to clear the concept of games as an important form of learning for young children and promote their comprehensive development; Emphasize family participation and collaborate with various forces such as communities and preschool education experts; Optimize the functions of public library space and create a dynamic and static library game space; Enrich the content of play services for young children in public libraries, and improve the efficiency of play services.
