Abstract Since ancient Chinese classics were introduced to Japan in 284, they have had positive impacts on Japanese politics, economy, culture and education. The more famous ones are the influence of the centralization modes of Sui and Tang Dynasties of China on Japan's Dahua Reform, the influence of Confucianism on the formation of Confucian capitalist culture in Japan, the role of ancient Chinese classics in promoting the formation of Japanese kanji culture, and the influence of ancient Chinese classics on Japanese literature.
