Rural public reading space is a new form of rural public cultural service system construction in recent years, and is the infrastructure guarantee to promote national reading into the countryside. At present, there are some deficiencies in the construction of rural public reading space, such as low attention of grassroots government, lack of planning guidance, insufficient participation of social forces, obvious shortcomings in traditional construction, small coverage of new construction, ect. Combining with the existing theoretical research and practical results, it is proposed to change the concept and seize the opportunity to do a good job in the overall planning and layout; establish a coordinated construction mechanism led by the grassroots government and extensive participation of social forces; comprehensively transform and upgrade, optimize the traditional public reading space in the countryside; use "N + reading space" model to promote the construction, expand the coverage of new public reading space in rural areas, ect.
