Abstract:With the rapid development of social economy, more and more attention has been paid to the construction of cultural undertakings in China. In the information age, the development of cultural and creative products has become an important way to inherit the traditional excellent culture. As an important carrier of cultural resources, the cultural and creative products of public libraries are to fully excavate the cultural resources of libraries, extract the relevant cultural elements, carry on the product design and development, and highlight creative innovation. The emergence of cultural IP provides a new idea for the design of cultural and creative products in public libraries, and brings more creative expression. This paper analyzes the relationship between cultural IP and cultural and creative products based on the current situation of the development of cultural and creative products in public libraries in China, puts forward the existing problems in the development of cultural creative products in public libraries, and advances the important role of cultural IP in the development of cultural and creative products in public libraries, it expounds several strategies for the development of cultural and creative products in public libraries from the perspective of cultural IP, in order to promote the innovative development of the cultural and creative industry in public libraries in China.
